Who we are
Abba’s House Of Praise And Helps Ministries International (AHOPAH) is a non-profit organization which started in 2021 by Elder Glenroy Sharpe when he saw the need for a community in the body of Christ. Over the years, Elder Sharpe has observed that he would seldom see an Asian person in a black persons restaurant but would always see an Asian person buying food from another Asian person.
As children of God, we need to support our own and that is what AHOPAH is all about. God’s children are all over the world; we have brothers and sisters in Christ that we have never met and never will. We are firm believers that the Bible is the ultimate source of truth. Hence, our focus is to ensure that our Father’s children are well fed and taken care of, both physically and spiritually.
Men are God’s methods and God simply uses us to answer your prayers and all we ask is that you remain faithful to Him.

Pastor Howard Marks
Elder Howard Anthony Marks, a trained teacher by profession, a former manager of Dyoll Life Insurance, and a past president of St. Elizabeth football association, has been a Christian from his teens, having worked in various areas in church such as Sunday School teacher and National Youth president, He currently serves as pastor of the Flagaman Apostolic Church in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica for over 27 years. He is the proud father of three; Stacy, Howard Jr, and Rachel.

Elder Christopher Collins
Christopher Collins, a network engineer by profession, has been a Christian for over 43 years and has served in various capacities in church including Missions outreach coordinator, Sunday School Teacher, Men’s director, Musician, itinerant preacher…to name a few. He is married to Donna for over 37 years, and they have been blessed with two daughters and a son…all adults now.
